Urban Impact - ArtHaus Partners

Art Uplifts Us All

We understand that economic and cultural vitality are inextricably linked.
This is why we work tirelessly to create highly functional yet aesthetically appealing buildings that enhance the welfare of the community as a whole.

ArtHaus Artists

By going beyond functionality and financial accessibility, the Arthaus Artists Program creates beautiful buildings that reflect the cultural vitality of the communities we serve.

Renewing and
Preserving History

From Oakland's earliest days, many beautiful architectural styles sprung up amidst its orchards, as well as in its industrial district. And like in most major American cities, many fell into disrepair. Instead of tearing these buildings down and starting over, we believe in bringing them back to life and reimagining their spaces in new ways.

Foundation Logo

At ArtHaus, we operate on a simple yet powerful principle: doing good for the world is integral to doing well as a business. A central part of our corporate strategy is giving back through philanthropy and volunteering. Our ArtHaus Foundation contributes to a variety of causes, donating a percentage of yearly profits to charities committed to improving lives and enacting global change.

We Go Up.
Not Out.

One of the simplest ways we can mitigate wealth inequality and climate change is urban infill aimed at the densification of affordable housing.

We Practice Urban Infill, Not Sprawl

For too long, our cities have sprawled outward instead of growing upward– hollowing out the middle class and deepening the climate crisis. It’s time for a new approach.

We Build to Add Value, Not Take It Away

Using open spaces to build new housing eliminates the necessary carbon offset that green areas provide. We reimagine existing properties so we can meet housing demand without sacrificing open space.

Building in
Cities Matters

When we densify housing in our cities, we provide opportunities for more people to live in zones of economic opportunity.

We focus on developing density without losing style, comfort,
and experience. See how we do it.
